Sydney Hospital & Sydney Eye Hospital Medical Library

The Winston Library collection includes general and applied medical texts and journals, and a unique selection of ophthalmic books and journals. In addition, there is an extensive collection of sexual health material. The collection supports the research, medical, nursing, undergraduate and postgraduate activities of the hospital.

Library subscriber service

The library provides services including database searches and document delivery to medical, legal and related professions.

The subscriber is entitled to free access to the library and the following services:

Supply of copies of contents pages selected from our journal collection
Use of Medline and other databases

Searches

Medline searches are performed by qualified medical librarians at a cost of $45 per search. Various other data bases are available through the library. Please enquire for details.

Manual Searches

Index Medicus 1902-1965. Medical subjects from relevant textbooks.
