Sydney Menopause Centre

The Sydney Menopause Centre conducts clinics for the management of problems
during and after menopause.
The centre is staffed by both male and female doctors with expertise in the
treatment of menopause and who are supported by a variety of specialists in
gynaecology, reproductive endocrinology and bone density. A registered
nurse is available from Monday to Thursday to answer queries related to
menopause.
Referrals for mammogram, blood hormone levels, bone densitometry and ultrasound
assessment are also provided.
The Sydney Menopause Centre assists women with the following:
- Midlife issues
- Non-hormonal therapies for treatment of menopausal symptoms
- Hormone therapy
- Menopause after cancer
- Early menopause
- Low libido
- Vaginal dryness/painful intercourse
- Bladder problems
- Osteoporosis
- Premenstrual syndrome
- Polycystic ovary syndrome
- Menstrual migraines
A referral from a General Practitioner or Gynaecologist is essential.
General Practitioner referrals need to be renewed every year.
