From time to time, public health issues arise which may have an
acute impact on the community. Public health alerts generated by
our Public Health Unit most commonly involve communicable or other
infectious diseases.
These alerts are written to assist clinicians, GPs and other
healthcare workers. Members of the community are advised to contact
a medical practitioner for advice regarding any illness.
