Are children allowed to visit?
In most cases children are permitted to visit patients in the hospital. However, it is important that you check with the nursing staff or clerk on the ward you are visiting to ensure that children may visit a particular patient.
Sometimes children are prohibited from visiting because a patient is too ill or has reduced immunity which makes them more susceptible to contracting an infection.
We ask that parents supervise their children so that they do not disturb other patients.
