The Nutrition Development Division is committed to community and clinical research.
Studies undertaken by the division have included clinical trials and collaborative social research. Topics include:
- Nutrition screening among people living with HIV in the prevention of life-style related disease.

- Health and Lifestyle survey of PLHIV in metropolitan Sydney (including food security)
- A randomised placebo controlled trial on the effect of anabolic steroid and weight loss.
- Effect of vitamin supplements on immune function
