The Albion Street Centre offers customised study tours, training courses, clinical placements and seminars for individuals and groups from overseas as well from Australia.  These can range from half-day seminars to long term courses and placements.  Areas covered include all aspects of HIV and hepatitis C management, treatment, care, prevention and education.  Visits to other HIV agencies and organisations in Sydney can also be arranged.   

Programs have been developed for visiting health care workers and health officials from numerous countries including China, India, Thailand and Indonesia.  For example, the Centre recently facilitated a program for a 20-person delegation from the China Family Planning Association to learn about Australia’s response to HIV and associated issues of injecting drug use, sexual health, blood safety and infection control and the policy context. 

Costs for the customised programs are based on the length of program and the number of participants.
