What is the Albion Street Centre?

The Albion Street Centre, a facility of the South East Sydney and Illawarra Health Service, is the only major Australian community based, multidisciplinary centre dealing exclusively with HIV and Hepatitis C clinical management, counselling, research, prevention and education. The Centre has over 60 professional staff and more than 130 volunteers who provide care, support and education. The staff has significant experience in HIV, hepatitis, infection control, and health care worker education and training both in Australia and overseas.
