Palliative Care

The Palliative Care Service offers a comprehensive service from a multidisciplinary team throughout the Illawarra region of the Area Health Service. It is comprised of two inpatient units at David Berry Hospital and Port Kembla Hospital as well as community and hospital liaison services. Consultations are available in all the area hospitals and nursing homes and in the community.

Outpatients clinics are located at the Cancer Care Centre in Wollongong and at David Berry Hospital.

Nursing services are provided in conjunction with Community Health throughout the region and comprise specialist nursing services and 24 hour nursing availability.
