Drug and Alcohol Service
This service conducts detailed phone assessments and arranges appointments for treatment. The Drug & Alcohol Service provides a range of inpatient and outpatient programs to people with drug and alcohol conditions, and programs to prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS. The Service also provides education and community development programs.
Treatment services include detoxification, methadone maintenance and other pharmacotherapies, individual and group counselling and welfare assistance. Services are located at various sites and community based facilities throughout south eastern Sydney and the Illawarra region.
The PIT STOP Program provides alcohol and other drug clinical and health promoting services to young people and local high schools in the Sutherland Shire.
