Shoalhaven Palliative Care Services is looking for volunteers keen to make a
difference to the lives of dozens of local families.
Palliative Care focuses on quality of life, free from pain and discomfort.
Volunteers, who can spare three hours each week, are being sought to support
families and their carers in the home or as a member of the volunteer team at
David Berry Hospital’s Karinya Unit.
Training for volunteers will be provided, with the next intake to begin in
September.
An information day will be held at Nowra Community Centre on Monday 7 July from
3pm to 5pm. For more information and application forms please call Penny Douglas
on 44228 111.
