Ethnic Affairs Priorities Statement Report 2006-2007
All public sector agencies are required to report annually on their Ethnic
Affairs Priorities Statements (EAPS) under the Community Relations and
Principles of Multiculturalism Act, 2000.
The SESIAHS report contains information about the collaborative work of
hospitals, Area Programs and the Multicultural Health Service to improve health
service delivery to the culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) population
that they serve. This is outlined in respective sections relating to
achievements as well as initiatives planned for the forthcoming year.
The SESIAHS EAPS report for the financial
year 2006-2007 indicates a comprehensive level of activity and performance
in the five designated areas of planning and evaluation, program and service
delivery, staffing, communication and funded services.
