About Mental Health Services

Mission

The mission of the South Eastern Sydney and Illawarra Health (SESIAHS) Mental Health Program is Good Mental Health Care, Better Mental Health.

We demonstrate leadership in the delivery of a range of integrated mental health services, which aim to optimise the mental health of the population of SESIAHS.

Values and Principle

  • High ethical standards in clinical and business practice
  • Accountability and responsibility to the community we serve
  • Commitment to research and teaching
  • Emphasis on planning, evaluation and outcomes measurement
  • A consumer focus at all service levels
  • Partnership with other providers of mental health related services

One-in-five people in Australia are affected by a mental health problem in the course of a year. Mental Health is an issue for the entire community and requires a whole of community response.

We thank you for your interest in activities and services of the South Eastern Sydney and Illawarra Health (SESIAHS) Mental Health program.

While we seek advice and input formally from our community and the public, we also appreciate informal feedback to the service. If you have any comments or questions, please email us.
