Healthy Cities Illawarra

Healthy Cities Illawarra is a non-government, community-based organisation operating from offices in Wollongong and Nowra.

The Healthy Cities program recognises the interactions between the social, economic and physical environments and focuses on building healthy public policy, creating supportive environments, strengthening community action, and reorienting services toward better health outcomes.

Healthy Cities Illawarra is funded by NSW Health. We have been actively involved with Healthy Cities Illawarra in implementing a range of initiatives that are helping to address some of the social determinants of health that affect our residents, including membership of an Active Transport Taskforce, and support for Food Fairness Illawarra.
